Questions people actually ask
- Can you read my secrets?
- No. Your browser encrypts before anything is sent, and the key travels in the link's fragment, which browsers never send to a server. One path is different and says so on every response: curl mode, where our server does the encrypting because your terminal cannot run our code.
- What happens when I downgrade?
- Nothing is deleted. Secrets you already sent keep working until their own expiry; the paid features stop.
- Do recipients need an account?
- Never. A recipient opens a link, and that is the whole of it.
- Is curl mode zero-knowledge?
- No, and the interstitial says so with a badge. Use the CLI if you want terminal convenience with browser-grade secrecy: it encrypts on your machine.
- Refunds?
- Fourteen days, no questions. Pro has no trial because the free tier is the trial.
- Do you offer EU hosting?
- On Team, in a later phase. Ask us if it is a requirement now and we will tell you honestly where it stands.
- Nonprofit or education discount?
- Fifty percent off Pro or Team, on request.
