SMS Terms

These terms describe the text messages (SMS) that SecretPaste sends. SecretPaste is operated by Kimeur Labs, LLC, and its messages are part of the Kimeur Labs, LLC SMS messaging program. All messages are sent from our toll-free number +1 (888) 604-1118.

Every message begins with "SecretPaste:", so you always know who is texting you. The same number also sends messages for other Kimeur Labs, LLC brands, each beginning with its own name. The program-wide terms are at kimeurlabs.com/sms-terms.

SecretPaste signs you in by email today and does not yet ask for a mobile number. These terms apply to every SecretPaste form that asks for one, and to every text message we send.

We send only messages that you have asked for:

• One-time verification codes, when you sign up, sign in, or confirm a mobile number on your account.
• Account and transactional notifications that you requested, such as a notice that a secret you sent has been opened.
• Replies to support conversations that you started.

We do not send marketing or promotional messages. A text message never contains the content of a secret, a link that opens one, a passphrase or a key.

Example messages:

• SecretPaste: Your verification code is 482913. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out.
• SecretPaste: A secret you sent was opened. Details are in your dashboard. Reply STOP to opt out.
• SecretPaste: Thanks for contacting support. Reply to this message to continue the conversation. Reply STOP to opt out.

You join only by giving us your mobile number yourself, on secretpaste.com or in the SecretPaste app:

• You enter your mobile number in the phone field of a sign-up, sign-in or account form.
• Beneath the field, the form shows the consent statement below. Consent is never pre-selected: any consent checkbox is unchecked by default.
• You tap Send code (or the form's equivalent button) to receive a one-time verification code by text message.

The consent statement reads:

By providing your mobile number and tapping 'Send code', you agree to receive SMS messages from SecretPaste (Kimeur Labs, LLC) about your account and requests, including one-time verification codes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. We never add numbers from purchased lists, from third parties, or from any source other than you.

Message frequency varies with your account activity, for example one message for each verification code you request. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.

You can stop receiving messages at any time. Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT to any message from +1 (888) 604-1118. You will receive one final message confirming that you are unsubscribed, and no further messages after that:

Kimeur Labs: You are unsubscribed and will receive no further messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.

Opting out stops text messages from this number for SecretPaste and for every other Kimeur Labs, LLC brand that uses it. After you opt out we cannot send you verification codes by text message.

Reply HELP to any message, or email support@secretpaste.com. The reply to HELP reads:

Kimeur Labs: Help at hello@kimeurlabs.com or kimeurlabs.com/sms-terms. Msg frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

If you have opted out and want to receive messages again, reply START to +1 (888) 604-1118:

Kimeur Labs: You are resubscribed to account and code messages. Msg frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device, and we cannot guarantee that every message will arrive.

We never sell your mobile number or your SMS opt-in consent, and we never share them with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We share them only with the service providers that deliver our messages, such as Twilio, and only for that purpose.
